Denis Mounié was founded in 1838 by Justin Denis and Henri Mounié. The house was an official supplier of cognac to King Edward VII. After 150 years in business, Denis Mounié was bought by Hine in 1982, before Hine itself was bought by LVMH (Hennessy) in 1987.
