Domain: Levi Serafino

The Serafino Levi distillery was founded in 1925 in Neive, in the region of Piedmont - thanks, largely, to the quality of the region's wine - and is equipped with a direct-fire still. Following the death of Serafino Levi in 1933 and that of his wife in 1945, their two children, Romano and Lidia, took the reins of the distillery. The Grappa Serafino Levis are renowned as a high-quality spirit, with their wonderful hand-written labels since 1962. After Romano passed away in 2008 and Lidia in 2011, one of Romano’s close friends, Luigi Schiappapietra, took over managing the distillery. Today, the distillery is also a living museum for the production of Grappa. However, it is difficult to find bottles for sale because, in relation to its demand, production is still very small.
