Domain: Woodford Reserve

The Woodford Reserve distillery has been producing exceptional bourbons since 1812. The house uses a blend of cereals including corn, run and malted barley bringing out all the subtlety and aromas of bourbons. The rich water used for production comes directly from a local source. This seemingly benign ingredient is actually essential to the production and quality of the spirit. The ingredients are then blended with a strain of yeast before being fermented then distilled using a still. Aging is carried out in new oak casks and is essential for the creation of the aromatic palate and balance of the bourbon. The house also makes a point of protecting biodiversity and producing in a sustainable way. In this way, 98% of the waste from the manufacturing process is recycled, alongside 97% of the food waste from the house. It is in this balanced context that the Woodford Reserve distillery produces exceptional brandies.
