Cuvée presentation

In 1834, William Teacher began selling whisky in his wife’s grocery store in Glasgow. After his death, his sons William and Adam took over the business and registered the brand William Teacher & Sons Ltd as well as the brand Highland Cream, a blend of more than 30 whiskies with a generous share of 45% malt whisky. They opened offices in St. Enoch Square and their distillery, Ardmore, in 1898. Their blend was popular in the export market, especially in the United States. They bought Glendronach in 1960, before being bought themselves in 1976 by Allied Breweries and finally, in 2014, Beam Suntory.
