Cuvée presentation

Donated by Douglas Laing & Co.

A unique, exceptional lot, coming from the oldest Douglas Laing cask.
Presented in a luxury gift box, including a diamond-cut crystal decanter by Richard Brendon and a whisky glass (usually sold for £340 and £90).
Kept by Douglas Laing for several decades, this cask has been selected from the Invergordon distillery which has always been of great importance to Fred and Cara Laing. Owner of White & Mackay (W&M), Invergordon is a business for which both Fred and Cara have respectively worked, before joining the family business. Thanks to their experience at W&M, their understanding of this spirit has become unmatched. This exceptional cask has been personally selected and offered by Fred and Cara Laing, second and third generation of the Scottish merchant Douglas Laing & Co.
This exceptional lot is on offer alongside a special tasting session for 6 people at Douglas Laing in Glasgow.

The distillery Invergodon

Invergordon is one of very few grain distilleries in the north of Scotland, near the port. Traditionally, this type of distillery is more likely to be found in the Lowlands due to supply and logistics considerations. Invergordon began operations in 1961, two years after Invergordon Distillers was founded, in a period when Scotch whisky was becoming more popular, particularly in North America. The distillery was bought by Whyte & Mackay in 1993.
