For decades, the Vallein-Tercinier family has carefully preserved its most remarkable cognacs in a timeless room known as the “Little Paradise”, among which the founders have selected an exceptionally rare lot 44 Grande Champagne. The product of an ancestral wisdom passed down since 1850, this exceptional cognac has been bottled for the first time to support the GoodPlanet Foundation in its projects.
Each mouthful of this cognac is a journey through time, through the complex aromas and refined flavours that reveal the soul of the Cognac terroir. Behind this nuance, we see revealed the history of a family who are passionate about viticulture and distillation philosophies that respect nature.
This lot includes a unique signed magnum of this Grande Champagne cognac and an original signed print of the photograph by Yann Arthus Bertrand that adorns the label (80*120cm).

The distillery Vallein Tercinier

Domaine des Forges was bought by Louis Vallein in 1791. In 1850, his grandson Georges Vallein set up a company for bottling and selling the estate’’s cognac. He was not only the estate’’s owner but also its distiller and bottler. As his son Paul never married, his nephew Louis Tercinier took over when he returned from WWI, developing the house’’s renown abroad. After WWII, he was joined by his son Robert. Business flourished and the company began exporting to new markets in the 1980s. Since the 1990s, grape-growing work and bottling activities have been shared between his children Louis and Catherine. Today the house produces a comprehensive range of cognacs, including many highly sought-after vintage editions.
