Tomatin

Fondée en 1897 par la Tomatin Spey Distillery Company, la distillerie Tomatin connaît de nombreux agrandissements jusqu'aux années 1980 où elle doit fermer suite à la crise de surproduction du « Whisky Loch ». Elle est rachetée par le groupe Takara Shuzo en 1986 et devient par la même occasion la première distillerie écossaise à passer sous le giron d'un groupe japonais.
